Global Warming Uncovers Corpses Frozen in Time... →
The title says it all. Due to snow and ice melting in the Andes mountains, several bodies have been discovered. The bodies of three Incan children from five hundred years ago were discovered in Argentina extremely well preserved. The body of a missing pilot was discovered in Peru. The article contains pictures of these mummified bodies. Thanks to Chelsea for this.

Penguin Goes Shopping (click) →
You *HAVE* to check out this video. It wouldn’t let me embed it, but this amazing and adorable. This penguin is now living as a pet in Japan. He has his own super-air conditioned room and he’s one of the family. I don’t know why he is named Lala, but he wears an adorable backpack every day to go to the fish market and get his grub on. This ten-year-old penguin is more...

Ten Thousand Statistically Grammar-Average Fake... →
Developed by MIT students and a computer. Super creative names. Also, here’s a Band Name Generator that you simply enter your name into. My fake band? The Dancing Hussies. Not even joking.

Alabama Law Firm to Taco Bell: That's Not Beef... →
Uh-oh, well according to this article, Taco Bell is false advertising their beef products since what they use does not meet the USDA’s requirement to be called beef. It is filled with fillers and extenders and contains less than 35% actual beef. The noble thing about this is that the company is not asking for any money. They just want TBeezy to be honest in their advertising. Their...

A Crime of Insanity: Insanity on Trial: Other... →
Quite the title for quite the article. “Summaries of famous and significant insanity defense cases, from the trial of the house painter who shot U.S. President Andrew Jackson in 1835, to the case of Andrew Goldstein, a diagnosed schizophrenic who killed a woman just weeks after he was released from a psychiatric ward.” Really good case summaries. I wish the press made a bigger...

Mars Science Laboratory: Send Your Name to Mars... →
In December of 2011, NASA will be sending a Mars Science Laboratory rover to Mars with a microchip containing the names of anyone who submits theirs. The site even gives you a printable certificate of participation. You can also check out a US Participation Map and a World Participation Map. Pretty cool.
